Oh, It's Been A Week & Miracles - August 29, 2018

This week I got my trainee. His name is elder Hooper. He is from mesa Arizona and spent a year at byu.  We then came back and found some new people to start teaching which was great! I ate a tub of cookie dough ice cream that night as well,( tips and tricks for a mission, always have ice cream). That was Thursday. Friday was a great day we taught this really cute family, they have a 4 year old son named Zach and he is a spazz but so am I so we get along. As we were reading the book of Mormon with them Gill another one of our investigator who is close to baptism rolls by and wants to listen. We get to a scripture on baptism and he says ( that what I needed to hear!) Then left. We also taught a lady named Brianna who is super nice and is going to come to church. Saturday we taught gill. We taught him about baptism and he said he received revelation, that he can get baptised without living the word of wisdom. We said we would study and get back to him. More about gill later. Sunday we had church and Gill came! He sat through all of sacrament meeting and listened he loved it! We then taught service in gospel principles and listened to an elders quorum lesson on feminism. What a disaster. Monday was our miracle day. It starts with a lesson with one of our inv. Bob. He lives with a guy who is anti Lds. But this lesson the other guy listened and bore testimony on God and how he forgives us and is coming to our book of Mormon class. Crazy stuff. Then, fantastic miracles I found a Snow Cone shack so we go and I'm eating a snow cone and Gill calls!!! He asks us if we have an answer and we say that he has to live it and he says ok I'm looking forward to our lesson on Wednesday. 5 min later we get a text saying ( I get it guys! Right after the phone call the spirit talked to me and asked me if I loved my cigarette, coffee and wine more the Jesus Christ, I answered no)!!! He got an answer to his prayers that he needs to live the w.ow. It was crazy. Tuesday was a normal day.
