District Leader, Needles, & Hugging - March 20, 2019

This week has been a crazy and fun one. We have transfers tomorrow and I am staying in Columbus. Elder Henshaw is being transferred. I got called to be the new district leader so that should be fun. I get to run district councils every week, plan exchanges, and call the elders and sisters in my district to check up on them. I'm excited it should be a good learning experience.

This week we did service with one of the members. Someone drove up on his wet lawn so we helped fill in the holes and get his yard fixed up. He gave Elder Henshaw a "gardening" knife. We also wen to the children's hospital in our area and gave a blessing to a little boy who was there. His family is from the Gahanna area. The hospital is amazing.

We found some needles on the sidewalk this week. Sketch We were running to the children's hospital so we wouldn't be late and this big man started yelling at us and chasing us. Slow down why are you running from me. So we stopped. he wanted us to pray with him after that he put us both in headlocks and didn't let go for a little while. Then he asked me if I liked people touching me. I said no if you know me you know this. lol  It was an interesting experience.

We are teaching some great people and working hard. We also went to the library this week. We study in there. I'll send a pic. An elder in the mission drew a picture of me. I'll send that too.

Talk to you next week
