Elder Davis' Ohio Columbus Mission: The Book Loft & Life in Columbus

This week has been a good week. Elder Henshaw and I have been working hard and having fun. Shane Poole from one of my previous areas came to Columbus and took us out to dinner. It was great! This week my mom sent me pepper spray for my key chain and we almost had to use it. lol We were at Panera and a man came up to us and asked for change, this happens a lot here. We said we didn't have any, and he just began shouting profanities at us and freaking out. Luckily he moved on, although we did have a plan if he didn't. jk
We started teaching a man who has had a rough time of it. He was without a home for a long time. He was so excited to hear about the plan of salvation. He just kept saying this makes sense. It was great.
We taught another man who has been looking for the truth and someone to study with. That was a cool experience.
We went to the Dream Center Church again this week to talk to people. We don't think they realize that we are elders of our church. They had us hand out programs as people came into the church. That was interesting. It was nice to meet a lot of different people.
Elder Henshaw experienced my fear of elevators this past week also. We had to ride on an old elevator at the children's hospital, next time I'm taking the stairs. haha
We went to the book loft today. My dad told me about it. It is an old book shop. There are 32 rooms of books. It was super cool. I'll send some pictures of that. It is in German Village also. There aren't any driveways here. Everyone just parks on the street. There are a lot of young families in our ward. That is nice the kids are funny.
