Cat Museum & Miracles - July 25, 2018

This week has been great! Me and Elder Loutz have been having a lot if fun together, working with members and finding. Yesterday was fun we walked around the entire town and found people and visited a cat museum and also found 2 new inv. It's been a rewarding week with lots of miracles which has been great. We got the food, and we are very excited for this week food wise.
We ate a lot more with members this week. We have found a lot of people to talk to, thanks to referrals. I am happy! It's been a fun week and a good one
We see old hot rods all the time, but not as many Indians and old Harleys, I will start taking pics of those for dad. We are going bowling today.
Alliance is like Rexburg. It's a college town... It's more like Price! That's it, It's that size and feel of Price.
We are helping guy now clean his horses and his barn so that is a lot of fun.

 I have learned that as missionaries our real calling is just to serve not baptize or anything like that.

Transfers, Football Hall of Fame, & Good Food - July 18, 2018

Transfers went great, My area is a smaller town up in Alliance Ohio. My companion is............ELDER LOUTZENHEIZER! It's awesome! I will email more later today but I thought I would give you that much

This week was pretty crazy and draining. My new companion who I met Wednesday is elder louts! He is awesome and a lot of fun. On the way up to transfers we ate at an Amish restaurant called Der Dutchmen it is pretty good and a lot of food. Thanks Shane! I then met Elder Loutz! And saw a bunch of my old mission friends. We then went to our area and worked the rest of the night and met brad one of the recent converts. The apt. Was a mess so I cleaned like crazy. I have learned I'll be ok later in life, because I can't handle living in filth. The next day we worked really hard and found some people to teach just a normal day. Friday me comp had a meeting in Columbus so I stayed in some area with an other elder! It was so much fun, I got to see the football hall of fame and take a tour through a old Catholic church. It was a lot of fun that day. We got back to our area and just found some people to teach. Saturday was a normal day, then Sunday was interesting. The ward was cold. No one said or anything except for a guy named brother Virdens and sister Virden. You will hear more about them later. That day was fun and dandy. Monday we worked like crazy and yesterday was a fun day. We visited someone in the hospital and taught some lessons. Some member gave us Bob Evans gift cards so we ate there at lunch and then the Virdens took us to Texas roadhouse. They are so sweet!  It was a fun week.

Missionary Stand at the Festival, Great Pictures & Transfers! - July 10, 2018

Hi mom! 

This week has been good. We have been trying to finish the transfer strong. We have transfer calls today so we will know what's happening sometime before noon. This week I got to go to three baptisms. The first was Jean, she is a lady who elder Smith taught and I got to message a few times on Facebook. She was awesome! She had over 90 non inv. Friends there. She was super excited and hyped to get baptized. Second was a 9 hear old named Lizzie, I have taught her a few lessons and knew her from FHE and church. She is super shy and quiet but she loved being baptized. She also bore her testimony which was so sweet! Third was a African man named Frank. The sisters taught him I had never met him but he was very excited for baptism and bore his testimony and it was hilarious and awesome! I am excited to see what happens in transfers we will see. Most likely I stay hear which I will be happy about. I love it here. This morning we are going to breakfast with Jean which will be fun. For the fourth of July I came up with the idea to buy 200 otter pops and make a stand at the festival and stuff and hand them out for free. We ran out so it went great!

Singing in Sacrament Meeting - July 3, 2018

Hey Everybody
My week was good. Our investigator kinda dropped off the face of the earth, but we have a lesson Friday with her. They are all doing good and getting there. I love the package thank you. We are probably going to the parades and stuff for the 4th of July. We have a district activity today. Mini golf and probably going to lunch so that will be fun. It's going good here. The new rules don't change a lot, so it's been going fine. Me and my companion are singing this Sunday. The song is In Christ alone.  We are singing in sacrament meeting. I've eaten a lot of food this week, don't worry. Shane Poole feeds us.  He is a recent convert about 3 months ago. He loves the Missionaries and has us over to eat when no one signs up. He drives us to church and comes to lessons when we need him. His sister isn't a member  she is taking the lessons from us. He is super nice!   The family we are teaching is moving. So we will help them with that. They will be out of our area. We found a couple more people no solid lessons yet. The tablet is working great. thanks for getting it fixed. Our apartment is super nice. It is like a town house near a lake. Our neighbors are great too. We didn't get to do any service this week. We just walked and found new people to talk to.
